Pedagogical Approach
STELLAR 2.0
Through the STELLAR (Strategies for English Language Learning and Reading) programme, students are immersed in language learning using a wide range of age-appropriate and engaging texts. With teaching processes such as the Modified Language Experience Approach (MLEA), students apply their learning in authentic contexts that make language learning fun.

Postcard Writing Activity
As part of Primary 2 Unit 13 Postcards to David, students wrote postcards and shared their work with their parents.
Sea Aquarium Learning Journey
Primary 2 students visited the S.E.A. Aquarium, using their experiences as inspiration for writing.
Ice-cream Making
Students learnt procedural writing by documenting the steps involved in making ice cream.
Programmes
Our English programmes develop students’ listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills through meaningful learning experiences.
Supporting Lower Progress Learners
Intervention programmes such as the Learning Support Programme (LSP), School-based Dyslexia Remediation (SDR), and Reading Remediation Programme (RRP) aim to support every learner. Students build strong literacy foundations through focused lessons in phonemic awareness and reading comprehension.
KidsREAD
Our KidsREAD programme supports students with emerging literacy skills.
Through weekly reading sessions led by parents, students develop a love of reading, cultivate positive reading habits, and gain confidence in language use.
Stretching High Progress Learners
We provide opportunities for students to challenge themselves and shine beyond the classroom through online storytelling competitions and debate, helping them grow into confident and articulate communicators.
Applied Learning Programme (English)
Our Applied Learning Programme (ALP) provides authentic contexts for students to use English meaningfully. Through real-world tasks, students develop presentation skills and learn to represent their ideas digitally.
