How the Singapore Student Learning Space Supports Learning

  • As part of MOE’s commitment to nurturing future-ready learners, an online learning platform known as the Singapore Student Learning Space (SLS) was developed and launched in 2018.

  • The SLS provides curriculum-aligned resources and tools that support learning anytime, anywhere, enabling students to learn collaboratively and at their own pace. This encourages greater ownership of learning and builds lifelong learning habits.

  • Teachers use SLS to complement classroom teaching by designing meaningful lessons that promote exploration, collaboration, and self-directed learning.

  • The SLS is shaped by feedback from both teachers and students, ensuring it remains dynamic and responsive to their evolving needs.

System Requirements

The SLS is accessible on modern internet browsers using:

  • Windows PC

  • Mac

  • iPad

  • Android tablets (screen size above 7 inches recommended)

Getting Started on SLS

Student MIMS account

The MIMS account grants your child single sign-on access to essential MOE learning portals, school devices, and online platforms.

  • Student Learning Space (SLS): Online lessons and assignments (SLS Portal (opens in new tab)).

  • Google Workspace for Education: Google Classroom, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive.

  • School Hardware & Network: SSOE school devices and school Wi-Fi.

  • MOE & School Portals: MySkillsFuture Student Portal, All Ears, and official school online forms.

How to Request a Password Reset

  1. Submit Request: Complete the password reset form at go.gov.sg/fppsmimsreset (opens in new tab).

  2. Track Status: Check the status of your request at go.gov.sg/fppsmimsstatus (opens in new tab).

  3. Log In: Once the reset is completed, use the default temporary password format below to sign in and set a new password.

Default Temporary Password Format

2026Fpps2026XX (Replace XX with your child's 2-digit class register number. For example, Register Number 5 becomes 2026Fpps202605.)

Processing Times & Operating Schedule

  • Turnaround: Account reset requests take 1 to 2 working days to complete.

  • Form Availability: The request form is open Monday to Friday. Submissions over weekends or public holidays are processed on the following school day.

  • School Holidays: Password reset requests are processed only during the first and last week of the holiday period.
