Our History
Farrer Park Primary School has a rich heritage shaped by the stories and legacies of several schools that have come together over time.
The school today was formed in 2023 through a merger of two schools - Stamford Primary School and the former Farrer Park Primary School - with Farrer Park Primary’s name being retained.
Stamford Primary School itself had deep roots in the community. It was established in 1984 through the merger of Waterloo School and Stamford Girls' School, two schools that had long served families in the area. Stamford Primary grew further in 1987 when Selegie Primary School was brought under its fold, adding yet another chapter to its story.
The former Farrer Park Primary School was equally steep in history. It was formed in 2002 when Boon Keng Primary School merged with May Primary School which had a long legacy dating back to the 1950s.
Together, these schools represent generations of educators and students whose stories have shaped who we are today.
